How we help teachers of PE and Physical Activity
We host course and events for people who work in Education. Here are a couple of examples of the types of sessions we deliver.

North Yorkshire & York PE Lead Network Meetings
These support sessions are for PE leads in schools across North Yorkshire, they’re free and take place over a Zoom call.
The meetings take place on a termly basis and provide a space to discuss issues and share best practice.
The network will have agendas that can be tailored to current need but will cover issues such as;
- engaging Senior Leadership Team
- meeting government requirements
- utilising sports coaches
- making the PE premium sustainable
The agenda will be set by the teachers attending. and facilitated by North Yorkshire Sport. The meetings give the opportunity for teachers to;
- share best practice
- hear new ideas
- address barriers/issues
- problem solve to improve PE, school sport and physical activity opportunities.

Level 5 & 6 Primary School Specialism and Subject Leadership in PE & School Sport (2023/2024)
We host courses to help support your development in PE.
The Level 5 & 6 Primary School Specialism and Subject Leadership in PE & School Sport (2023/2024) is a nationally recognised qualification that aims to up-skill primary school teachers and higher-level teaching assistants to improve the overall delivery of the Physical Education curriculum within primary schools.
On successful completion of this qualification, delegates will be able to assist in raising the standards within primary school Physical Education teaching.
