I joined the North Yorkshire Sport Team in September 2024 after being at the mental health charity Mind for five years.
I am passionate about supporting local people in local places, and I am lucky that my role as Active Communities Manager means I travel across North Yorkshire doing just that. My main role is to tackle inequalities in physical activity in partnership with organisations, Everyday is different and that’s why I really enjoy my job.
I’ve always been a very active person, but we all have our own reasons and journey with physical activity. For me being active keeps me grounded, happy and motivated. Most of the friendships I’ve made have been through the sports I’ve been part of. I’ve played football most of my life thanks to my dad, but I also enjoy walking, climbing, and playing badminton.

Why contact me?
I provide support to local organisations and clubs in place across North Yorkshire. Whether you’re looking to introduce physical activity in your organisation\community, need support with training, funding, or community engagement then please do reach out to me. If I can’t help, I’ll find someone who can. Most importantly I love a chat and a cup of tea.
