I have worked for North Yorkshire Sport since 2018 and have been a part of many different areas of work in my time here! I love that North Yorkshire Sport helped me find my passion and I now work in Youth Engagement which is a flexible and varied role working with some amazing people. Supporting young people can be challenging yet so rewarding and working alongside the rest of the team and wider partners brings so much learning and insight. I love taking on new challenges and am lucky that North Yorkshire Sport provides me with opportunities to learn and grow professionally and independently!
I have always loved sport, playing as much as I could when I was younger, until finally settling on Netball when I went to university. I play for two local clubs, coach a local U16 team and Umpire at a national level! I love meeting new people and socialising so team sports or group activity have always been for me! I have been in and out of rehab with ACL injuries for the best part of 3 years now and the team around me has definitely helped with the mental side of not been able to play!
