Ramblers Wellbeing Walks

We’ve worked alongside partners to create Ramblers Wellbeing Walks to continue the provision of short, guided, group walks across North Yorkshire. These groups are ideal for people new to walking or for those who prefer shorter walks.

Our partners on this transition from North Yorkshire Walking for Health Group to Ramblers Wellbeing Walks are The Ramblers and North Yorkshire County Council.

What are Ramblers Wellbeing Groups?

Ramblers Wellbeing Walks are coordinated by North Yorkshire Sport. They offer:

  • Social group walks led by trained walk leaders
  • A free, regular walking activity
  • An opportunity to explore local areas and meet new people
  • Walks between 30-90 minutes in length
  • Walks that are suitable for beginners.
