We work both in the community, across health and wellbeing organisations and also with schools to reach as many children and families as possible.
Our work in this area includes the FEAST activity programme.
FEAST
FEAST (food, entertainment, arts, sport, together) is a holiday programme open to all children and young people in North Yorkshire, and is free to families eligible for benefits-related Free School Meals.
We know physical activity contributes to both good physical and mental development.
Promoting the health and wellbeing of pupils and students within schools has the potential to improve both educational and health and wellbeing outcomes.
