We’re pleased to share that our North Yorkshire Sport 2024/25 Impact Report is now live – launched on Friday 1st August; Yorkshire Day!
It reflects the work we’ve delivered together across the region through movement, activity and sport –from supporting children and young people, to improving health and wellbeing, and building more active communities across York and North Yorkshire.
A few highlights from this year:
- 🧒 54,000+ free children’s holiday activity places delivered through FEAST, as part of North Yorkshire Together
- 🧠 85% of older adults in “Get Moving” reported better mental wellbeing
- 🚴 Facilities like Whitby Pump Track and Alne’s accessible path now open
- 👧 64% of teen girls gained confidence through wellbeing events
- 🧑🤝🧑 Directed over 45% of £1million place-based funding into priority areas, such as the North Yorkshire coast and Selby Town
