North Yorkshire Sport are proud to present our 2023 – 2024 Impact Report. Highlighting the ways we’re working to embed movement, activity and sport across the county.
We work with partners across the county to help create happy and thriving communities where people are living more healthily for longer in a fairer, more equal society. Our annual Impact Report 2023/2024 showcases some of the ways we’re achieving this.
The report is split into our three strategic goals that underpin the way we work: Children & Young People; Health & Wellbeing; and Active Communities. It features a section on Organisational Foundations, showing how our governance and staff culture has grown over the year.
In the report you will find case studies from a range of projects. This includes: early intervention mentoring with young people; ‘pay as you can’ yoga during the cost of living crisis; engaging asylum seekers living in temporary accommodation; and much more.
Richard Carlton-Crabtree, Chair of North Yorkshire Sport said:
“On behalf of the trustees and staff I would like to welcome you to the North Yorkshire Sport annual impact report for 23/24. I am proud to introduce this report showcasing the difference that we have made to people and communities in North Yorkshire through our mission to enable people to use movement, activity and sport to fulfil their potential and create positive change.”
A video companion to the report will be launched on Wednesday 23rd October at 12pm.
We hope you enjoy the report. If you would like to discuss how we can work with you to deliver physical activity, sport and movement to York and North Yorkshire, please do get in touch with us via our website. We would love to hear from you.
